This week’s WBTA Pet of the Week is Snoopy, a purebred Shih Tzu and a true bundle of joy. His name was inspired by the beloved Peanuts character because, just like Snoopy from the comic strip, he’s imaginative, loyal, and good-natured—the name simply fit.
Snoopy keeps himself busy as the self-appointed activities director of the household. Whether he’s negotiating for extra treats, perfecting his signature puppy-dog eyes, stretching out for long naps in sunny spots, or following his favorite Aunt Jesi around to make sure she’s properly supervised, he always has a full schedule. He’s also lucky to have two people who adore him—his official dad, James Hodge, and Aunt Jesi, whom Snoopy has lovingly trained to be his personal chef and play coordinator.
When it comes to friends, Snoopy keeps his social circle small but exclusive. He proudly serves as president of his own fan club, which includes his two fur-cousins, Stelly and Princess. A real ladies’ man, Snoopy enjoys the finer things in life, especially any meal featuring meat or cheese. His larger-than-life personality, playful charm, and loving nature make him this week’s WBTA Pet of the Week.
