This week’s WBTA Pet of the Week is Missy, a chicken who enjoys spending time with her family, 9 year old Lia Munce, and her parents Alvin Munce and Jennifer Munce. Missy originally lived in the family chicken coup, but after being viciously attacked by the other chickens, Missy moved inside the house where she’s now accepted as a house chicken. Missy enjoys sleeping in front of the fire place, begging for food with the dog, using the doggy door to get in and out of the house, and sleeping in her crate. Missy’s best friend is Lucy the dog, who she frequently spends time with. Missy’s favorite food is Kalmbach all-natural chicken feed, available at Genesee Feeds, the only place to trust with your furry friend’s needs.
